After a majorly evetful race in Fort William we can’t say the dust has settled as that was one of the key factors, the lack of it!  The middle forest/ mud section was crucial and caught out lots of the top riders.  Amazing to see a 29er win it’s first World Cup and interesting to hear lots more of them on the way too.

Rachel Atherton’s injury was tragic in cutting her winning ways short without having an opportunity on track.  No doubt she’ll be back soon with her team seeming to think she could make next weekends start in Leogang following her dislocated shoulder.  That’s not to take away from Tracey Hannah’s achievement, the Australian rider has been on the pace for a while and must be on the short list for World’s at home now.

Not long to wait for Leogang!
