At the Irish national road racing championships in Clonmel on Sunday, Omega Pharma Quick Step rider Matt Brammeier claimed his third National champions jersey in a row coming in just ahead of Ag2R’s Tour de France co-captain Nicolas Roche. Brammeier who has not been selected for the Olympics had something to prove and duly did.
