Niall Davis wins the Single Speed World Championships

Dan Martin wins stage at the Vuelta

Irish man Dan Martin confirmed his grand Tour credentials with a fantastic win at the Vuelta a Espana on Sunday.  The Garmin-Cervelo rider attacked a number of times in the stage and despite being known as a climber took the stage in a sprint.

Irish DH team for Worlds announced.

With a little over a week and a half to the 2011 World Championships, the Irish team who will travel to Champery for the Downhill have been announced.  Earlier consternation following the announcement of the team without the reigning National Champion, Ger Wolfe has been appeased as he has now been added to the ticket.
