Following a fantastic qualification run Christopher McGlinchy rode to victory at the European Downhill Champs this past weekend in Norway.  McGlinchy  was crowned European Under 16 Champion on a day that was good for the Irish with many top results.

Cameron Cornforth finished 4th in the same category as McGlinchy and brother Luke Cornforth matched his qualification seeding to finish in the Silver medal at Under-14!  Top results guys and well done.

In the Elites race Greg Callaghan finished 25th in his first year in Elites.  Remember that these riders are racing against full time athletes.  Ewan Doherty finished 28th, Colin Ross 29th, Scott Laughlan 30th, and Seanan O’Riordan 33rd.  All great performances.
