The 3rd round of the Downhill World Cup took place at the weekend in Leogang, Austria. Riders faced a wet and muddy course with rain falling for the top 20 qualifiers on finals day. Greg Minaar maintained his lead at the head of the standings, winning ahead of Gee Atherton and Aaron Gwin. World Champion Steve Peat ended up 6th with Irish rider Ben Reid in 21st.

For the girls it was a similarly tough day. Rachel Atherton posted the fastest qualifying time and was 3 seconds up on Sabrina Jonnier at the split but a crash on the lower section of the course put pad to her run. She did not finish. Jonnier extends her lead at the head of the standings.
