The makers of two classic MTB films - 24 Solo and Off road to Athens - are back with a new film Chasing Legends.  This film shifts tack to road racing following the HTC-Columbia team in the 2009 Tour de France.

The trailer looks spectacular with fantastic camera angles from bike, car and motorbike mounted cameras.  Behind the scenes interviews feature some of the main protagonists including Mark Cavendish, Jens Voight and George Hincapie along with the likes of Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen.  The filmakers were also granted access to team meetings and the fly on the wall segments look really good.  Anyone who has followed some of the videos put out by Astana last year will know how much strategising goes into a race like this so it should be really interesting to see inside the Columbis setup.

DVDs are available from www.chasinglegends.com and if past history is anything to go by will be multi-region.  We loved their previous two titles and on that basis alone this will be worth seeing.  Tie in the makers flare for story telling and the dramatic events of the 2009 Tour de France and you have an instant classic.
