Unfortunately due to land access issues this weekends downhill NPS race in Clonmel has had to be cancelled. See release below.
To all Downhillers:
Please be advised that due to unforeseen circumstances CLONMEL CYCLING CLUB has had to cancel the 7th round of the Downhill National Points Series due to take place this weekend (26th & 27th June).
It is with great regret that this decision had to be made at such short notice.
An access issue arose at the beginning of the week where we became aware that the course inadvertently crossed a boundary into neighbouring lands, where the proper permission’s could not be obtained at such short notice.
The Club apologise for any inconvenience caused and would like to acknowledge all the hard work put in to building a fantastic course by the local Downhill community and dedicated Club members. We would hope that we can resolve some issues regarding hosting the event sooner rather than later, and welcome you all to Clonmel before
the end of the Year.
