Nothing against British cycling,but when is this website going to report on cycling in Ireland?? Dont hear about any Irish Mtb riders racing abroad or in Ireland. Nps last weekend and nothing reported about it,how can we promote cycling here if nothing is said about it.

While we appreciate the comment, we feel its a bit unfair. The post immediately before this was a video blog from Ryan Sherlock racing the Ras, before that we also talked about Janos Kohler racing in the Red Bull Road Race, then it was a promo for the weekends race and we also gave Ben Reid’s finishing position in the World Cup last week. We regularly post on how Irish racers are doing abroad in fact we are often the only Irish site that reports on it at all. We have had diary posts from Irish riders racing at European races such as Rich Felle and Mel Spath from World Cups and we champion Irish riders at home and abroad including helping them with sponsorship when we can. Yes the results from the weekends race have not gone up yet but that is because the results were delayed and only came out late Tuesday. We haven’t slotted them in yet.
The video from the Athertons we posted because we felt it might be of interest, we were not paid in any way or form to post it. Please look back at our archives where you will see that we help to promote Irish races and riders at no personal gain.
