Review - Rockshox Reba XX fork

XX is the range topping groupset (sorry, family) from SRAM and this is their range topping trail/race fork.

We tested the XC specific SID Team fork last year but, we’ll let you in on a little secret, we think that this is a far superior fork for both racers and trail riders alike. Sure the SID is lighter by 240 grams but the Reba (1645 grams) is a much better all rounder with a stiffer chassis, great progressive stroke and the new hydraulic lockout. Sometimes grams aren’t everything!
The ride is completely customizable thanks to Dual Air chambers (both positive and negative air pressure), Dual Flow (separate big hit and small hit rebound tuning) which is more than most riders will need but none the less part of the package. XX motion control handles the forks compression and includes the XLoc hydraulic remote lockout that is amazing.  Simple on/off with the easiest lever action there is.
Tracking is great with less deflection than the SID and super speed on the trail. The big price tag is comparable to many other top forks but considerably cheaper than the SID XX fork. We like it a lot. Performance is great and you can see where you money has gone.

RRP -  €706.00   Available nationwide.
