Made from 200 weight merino wool, it’s a long sleeved base layer from the GT technical and athletic product division of Kiwi manufacturer Icebreaker.  We have been converts to the benefits of merino wool for a while as anyone who reads this site often will know and Icebreakers GT range in particular.

Lycra panels high on the back and under the arms have been mixed in to provide the performance fit that was comfortable yet fitted allowing a full range of movement.  They also help with ventilation when things get really physical.  Friction reducing flat seems do what they say on the tin.  Thumb loops are included as is a small pocket at the hip.

Like we said at the outset this is a quality outdoor garment that is specifically designed for sports yet doesn’t look out of place after the event.  If you are a multi sport enthusiast or adventure racer in particular then this is for you!
