A quality carbon riser bar from a quality manufacturer.

For those who haven’t tried them, riser bars offer far more control than a traditional flat handlebar, especially when going downhill.  These lightweight riser bars are made from carbon fibre and feature a 20mm rise across their 680mm width.  The point where the bars are clamped int he stem is furred to allow for better grip.  Construction is really good as you would expect from SRAM (who own Truvativ) and the finish is really nice.

These bars are really comfortable, more so than most risers we have tried.  The sweep is great and the rise is small enough not to deter even the most died in the wool flat bar fans and they will really notice the extra width on descents along with the resulting control benefits.  Despite several crashes (ahem) they are none the worse either.
