Cyclo-cross tyres have many benefits.  Less chance of puncturing, more comfort and better grip are all major bonuses on Irish roads and allow you to ride off-road too should you so decide.

Cyclocross is not just for Winter either. While the race season in Ireland will end on Sunday with the CX National Championships, these type of tyres are perfect for Irish roads and  are great for year round riding. Minimalist tread with a great knob profile provides plenty of grip in all conditions.

With many adventure races featuring road sections such as the WAR (Wicklow Adventure Race) race organisers are recommending the use of these tyres as they are that much more durable on back country roads.  We definately agree.

Highly recommended, perfect for MTBers who dread the road and also for training when distance and comfort rather than road tyre speed are your friends.  While they are bigger than road tyres they give great confidence on the bike, especially in cornering and lack of punctures is in itself enough as far as we are concerned.
