James O’Carroll of OC Tuning has opened a new service centre in the KCR Industrial Estate in South Dublin.  The store is home base to Ireland’s only Fox authorised service centre with overnight turnaround on most forks.

James has a pedigree that most would envy.  In his early days he was a cross country champion with phenomenal power.  Latterly he moved codes over to downhill.  He has raced for his country at World level and has spent the last few years wrenching for the Irish National Downhill team.

This has given him a thorough workout in all areas of bike maintenance and James can cover all sorts of areas.  Wheel building is one and he has utilised his contacts to provide excellent service, rates and options.  OC Tuning can match rates from Chain Reaction but with great after sales service.  Turn around times are very fast.  OC Tuning stock Mavic, Solid bikes and Reverse components among others and have contacts with most of the major manufacturers, not forgetting Fox of course.

While you are waiting they offer refreshments and some interesting bike geekery as James has some of his old bikes on display on the shop floor.  A GT RTS brought a tear to our eye and an old Klein full sus brought back memories too.
