On Tuesday Team Animal-Commencal had it’s 2009 press launch. Present were all three of the amazingly successful Atherton’s resplendent in their new team kit. World champions Gee and Rachel Atherton will again focus on Downhill for the coming season with eldest brother Dan riding both downhill and 4 cross.

Boonen wins Tour of Qatar

Amidst an emotionally charged final stage, Isle of Man rider Mark Cavendish took his second stage victory in a sprint finish in Qatar earlier today. Making up for earlier mistakes in the race the young rider claimed his second stage win ahead of Germans Robert Forster and Heinrich Haussler.

Former World Champ Christophe Depouey commits suicide
