This Saturday, the Cycling Ireland Off Road Commission AGM will take place in the Marine Hotel, Sutton Cross at 4pm. The meeting is open to all members of Cycling Ireland - i.e. anyone who has a cycling Ireland license. This is the main forum for mountain bikers who wish to get involved in the running of the sport in Ireland so all are encouraged to attend and participate. Off Road Commission AGM 2008
Saturday 20th December, 4pm,
Marine Hotel, Sutton Cross, Dublin
Under the powers granted to it under the operating procedures for the Commissions of Cycling Ireland the Board of Cycling Ireland is calling a general meeting of the Off Road Commission to elect a new Off Road Commission.
The proposed agenda for the AGM will be as follows:
1. Election of Meeting Chairman
2. Minutes of 2007 AGM
3. Matters arising from 2007 minutes
4. 2008 Off Road Commission Report
5. Questions regarding report
6. Elections
7. Motions
8. AOB
The AGM is open to all members of Cycling Ireland. Those attending must sign in with their current Cycling Ireland membership card/license.
Election of commission members:
Those wishing to stand for election must be proposed and seconded by members of Cycling Ireland clubs. Nominations can either be submitted to the Cycling Ireland offices, in writing or via e-mail or can be taken on the day.
Should a ballot have to take place, only those in attendance, who are members of Cycling Ireland Clubs (and have a current CI license), will be eligible to vote. The number of votes per club is in accordance with Cycling Ireland’s Memos and Articles
Motions for AGM
Any Club wishing to submit a motion to the AGM can do so either on the day or in writing or by email to the Cycling Ireland Offices
