We stopped by the Catlike stand at Eurobike and were very impressed with the range from this Spanish manufacturer.  Chances are you’ll recognise the helmet worn by French MTB superstar Julian Absalon and female World Champ Margarita Fullana among others.  It is also the head gear of choice of the Basque road team Euskaltel Euskadi including Olympic champion Samuel Sanchez.

The helmet all these riders wear is this the Whisper Plus and we have just recieved one on test.  It has an unusual vent pattern and look and we will be reporting in on how it rides shortly.  Initial impressions are very positive and we really like the styling.

The helmet arrived safely in this Catlike helmet case which we like a lot.  Its called the Bolsa and would be a worthy adition to keep your pride and joy safe.

Also in the package were these socks.  A regular summer pair and a set of warm winter socks that we are particularly keen to try night riding.

Catlike have just signed an Irish distributor and all their products will be available on our shores shortly.  We can’t tell you much yet but we know of at least one shop - The Cyle Inn in Tallagh (and their new shop on the Long Mile Road) that has a demo model if you can’t wait.  There are more models in the range, check them out at www.catlike.es
